About Hikes, Trails & Access Roads
- Hiking Guide: WTA's new and improved "wiki" hiking guide allows users like you to write, update and access more than 2,000 guidebook-style entries on your favorite hikes. New features allow users to have better search options and incorporate Trip Reports.
- Trip Reports: WTA maintains a database of more than 20,000 trip reports submitted by Northwest hikers. [We retained the old features that made "Trip Reports" so popular and added in new search options.]
- Hikes of the Week: Each week we feature a new hike - old favorites and new ones that haven't found their way into many guidebooks.
- Seasonal Hiking Suggestions: Trying to find just the right hike for this weekend? Check out great seasonal choices here.
- Trail & Road Closures: Huge storms in 2003 and 2006 closed access to dozens of popular trails. Check our Storm Damage Database before you go out (not updated for winter snow conditions).
